Not aware of it. I'd touch live near Burquitlam plaza there us a good Chinese food restaurant It north gate who used to be in Cameron and north road. They just move to Burquitlam plaza where dollar store is.
Yes, usually within an hour
Yes
they have both rectangular and round tables for large groups.
Yes they do
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Metro Vancouver. Delicious fried rice, chicken chow mein, and other standard dishes.
Dim Sum was okay. The shrimp dumpling had a spongy texture. Big pieces for dumplings. The place wasn’t really that clean and the service was a little rude. I felt rushed while eating there.
Good price and good taste.
The place has typical Chinese food, price is reasonable and portion is quite big, taste is good too. The only problem is that it's quite noisy at times and service is limited due to not enough personnel.
So so atmosphere... So so service... Great food in general especially the seafood. They make a great lobster, as well crab dish. Dimsum is so so.
One of the best authentic Chinese places in town. Lots of food, great price, and delicious menu. Totally recommend trying this place out if you are in the mood for Chinese food!
It’s touch and go . The service can be better. We should be all equal. The food has gone done a little. Until I find something better I give it 3 for now
Extremely unfriendly and uninviting. We ended up leaving before even ordering. Can't speak to the quality of the food, but the service was abysmal.
The seafood there (especially crab) is soooo good, sweet and sour pork also amazing! Will definitely visit again!!!
Some of the best local Chinese style food in the area. Good quality, good portions, and all very tasty. Staff are pleasant and efficient. Not pretentious, but better food than most of the local Mom&Pop shops nearby. Fresh-fish tanks look clean and water is clear. Prices are mid to high range for this class of restaurant but you get what you pay for. Can order Beijing/Peking duck without a days notice as is typically required elsewhere, and the quality is good. Heads up that stairs might be an issue: back parking lot needs a climb up a steep, full flight of stairs. Entry from the front involves fewer stairs down. Washrooms are down at the bottom of another step set of steps on the other side of the back-lot entrance stairs. Check it out before bringing along people with limited mobility. They will do pickup, though, if visiting doesn't work...
Crab super fresh 👌👌
Very hit and miss so giving bad review as it's just not consistent. Yesterday we ordered take out and the green beans had a strong fish taste which was disgusting! Many times in the past the green beens are really good. They need to sort out the kitchen and get the consistency up.
The food came faster than we could eat it, and honestly the meal for 4 could definitely feed 5! All in all the calimari was definitely some of the best that I have ever had and all there dishes tasted authentic and amazing! We even came by at the end of the day and still have us amazing service after being closed... Oops but it is definitely worth the money!
Ate dim sum here, most of the food is pretty good quality.I really recommend the fried rice.Their shrimp dumpling on the other hand was not that great, it was some kind of shrimp paste and not whole shrimps like other dim sum restaurants.
Tasty food & good service. Great selection
Giving 3 stars cuz food is good and service is reasonable. They were willing to sub one of the items on my "Dinner for 2" order, which was nice. However, paying by card is almost impossible in there since the machines are connected to phone line... takes like 20 mins for one transaction, as it is constantly interrupted. Additionally, I got a pork bone and a staple in my food. Pork bone I can understand, these things happen... but a staple?! Cmon. Almost ate them both, someone eating faster may have done so.
Fast service and delicious food😋 We would like it if they were more friendly and allowed us to make mo or changes to their combo
Food is delicious and the price is reasonable! We ordered 6 dishes but only cost less than 90 dollar including tip and tax!!! The mood is good and chill, staffs are friendly as well! Ask them for recommendations and they will for sure give you something good. Will go again for sure!
If I can give 0 stars, I would. This place is terrible. I cant believe how many ppl like eatting here. Service was so bad, for example... They dropped the soup in the corner of the table and walked off. Thinking that she was grabbing more items, waited for 10 mins before she came back and said whats wrong with the soup ? Why arent u guys pouring it in the bowl urself!!! Then the same person drop a dish on top of my wife's plate. This visit was so bad, you know that restaurants along kingsway are ten times better. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Delicious Chinese fare!
I am so happy that this restaurant's near my neighbourhood.
Lunch specials is gone but still a lot of great value food during this COVID period. Portions and quality is still there!
Been coming here for years, great place for a hot relatively quick meal. Price has gone up a little but understandable. Weekday lunch special comes with small soup. Street parking in front on the street and behind the building in the back.
Good chinese food.
Long standing institution...good westernized chinese food
Inconsistent... take out today was horrible. Have been here several times to eat in and usually decent tho pricier than before. If food stays the way it was today, will not go back. Fried rice had big chunks of veg... chinese fries rice is usually a fine mirepoix, but shrooms, cauliflower and brocolli in huge chunks. Who puts these in fried rice 1st of all... i think the new chef may not have tried chinese food before. Seasoning on all the dishes off as well, some way too salty some just bland. Will give it 1 more go, if not up to snuff, am taking my biz to the foodcourt instead cuz that is the level of food Loheed presented today
Lougheed Wonton restaurant offers tasty Chinese food at a good price, with good service. The downside is that the basement you walk through to get to the washrooms smells musty.
Authentic and delicious Cantonese food. Speedy service. Can't ask for more
My family and I love it there! Food and service is great. We've been going there over 20 years!
Their service was poor, my cup was dirty, and the whole place had weird smell. Some of their dishes were average and some of them were below average. For example, the noodle in the chow mein was burnt, and almond chicken had very dry, hard-to-chew chicken inside the batter. The ingredients didn't seem fresh. Everyrhing was very disappointing. I do not recommend this place.
Food tastes really good.Ambiance is simple but clean and spaciousParking at front and backServer was nice and all came quickly to tableA lil more pricey than similar ones but still affordable
So famous restaurants. Nice n friendly employees.
Poor. Several things: came with girlfriend to try out their wonton noodle in soup, she had the vanilla version, I had the BBQ duck. Also ordered sticky rice and steamed rice roll with Chinese donut. All were bad. The wonton soup had no flavour. the wontons fell apart and were badly wrapped. No flavour in the wonton meat as well. The BBQ duck fared worse. Never have I seen the bits of fat from the BBQ duck break apart like this. Only theory I had about this was that this BBQ duck has been sitting for a while... would not recommend. The sticky rice was lacking flavour and sauce. Dry. Small and broke apart easy. Would not recommend. The steamed rice roll with Chinese donut was a poor mockery of what it should be. The donut was drenched in soy sauce before it came. The donut was too doughy. And they didn't have peanut sauce in house??? What kind of Chinese restaurant doesn't have peanut sauce. Would not recommend. Not an authentic Chinese cuisine experience. Would not recommend.
Excellent food. Deep fried squid was cooked just right. Had the lobster deep fried with peppery salt and it was amazing. Went with a group of people that typically don't eat Chinese food and they devoured everything. Would definitely go again. Great for large groups too. Ample parking nearby.
Best Chinese food I have ever had!
This place used to be a family favorite but have noticed on our last few visits that the service has gone downhill. Not as friendly and courteous to the patrons in the restaurant, as they seemed to be more interested in answering the phone and take out orders. Waited a good 10 minutes for us to get tea, initially, then another 10 - 15 minutes for every dish to come out. Good thing we only ordered three dishes or we would have been there all night! Only saving grace was the food was decent.
Always good food kind staff and affordable
Great neighborhood chinese place that has authentic Chinese food at reasonable prices. Their crab dishes are second to none.
I've eaten here many times. My favourite is and they know it is, "BBQ pork wonton noodle in soup". Add an order of spring rolls and you'll leave satisfied. Staff are great, prices are good. As a 30 year resident, it's the best chinese food in the Tri-Cities.
The foot here taste very good usually I like to come twice a month the price is very reasonable. However always line up you may need reservations before you go
Excellent food and fast service. In my opinion Lougheed Wonton by far has the best customer service for any chinese restaurant. I live in White Rock and never will I ever hesitate to drive up to Coquitlam for Lougheed Wonton.
have been going there for years. best value and tasty food.+ BBQ duck or chicken are both really goood. I usually dont eat duck, but their BBQ duck tastes stronger than the chicken, in a good way.+ sour and sweet pork is so good. much less fat than other restaurants.+ fried crab with garlic is highly recommended, but its price can be quite high now.+ fried rice is good.+ Shanghai Chicken is good!etc. so many good items, just have to try different ones.Good service if you go during off peak hours. The staff would chat with you to make recommendations.Free Parking available. but because there are other restaurants nearby, the spots can be very limited during lunch or dinner times.Good for family and friends gathering; they have big tables.
This restaurant is hit and miss. I don't mean sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. I mean some of the dishes are well executed and some aren't. Their wonton are ironically, below average. As is the BBQ pork and noodles I had in my soup. The soup itself was really bland. The noodles were a little overcooked. The fried tofu was okay, but again, a but bland. I've been here on other occasions and had great dishes. Their crab and lobster dishes are great. As well, I've had their special fried chicken which was also great.
Went for a family dinner recently and was pleasantly surprised as we haven’t been there for many years. Good sized portions, the best Beijing duck I’ve had with a fair bit of duck in the lettuce wrap. The Szechwan chicken was a new dish for us and very tasty. Buddhist feast had a variety of vegetables and bean thread noodles. A bit pricey, however the quality was very good and fresh. Will go again and also try take-out.
Food is pretty good for price. Bathrooms are located downstairs and it smells awful in the way down. It's like being hit by a woft of urinal cake odour.
Great food, good service, often very busy. Friendly staff. Parking is also available around the back. They also do dim sum!
Huge portions, clean and tidy. Morning Dim Sums are nice and after that the set meals are well worth their money. Quaint and cozy place but gets quite busy during weekends.
One of the best but getting pricy...would like recommend Sweet and sour pork andSpicy fried squid
Usually order take out (there’s an extra discount if you order for pick up!) for dinner, and we’ve tried the dim sum which was pretty tasty.
Had dim sum on 19 Nov 2018, this was our first time trying their dim sum. It was excellent in terms of freshness, taste and reasonable price with the right portion. We also ordered 2 ala carte dishes which were yummy and good. The manager Sheena is efficient and courteous, even in the mist of handling orders over the phone, she was patient with me when I asked her about the dishes in the menu. Reasons I gave a 5-star are: food quality, value for money, sitting comfort, cleanliness of dining room and washrooms, service, ample free parking behind and along streets, central location and a 3-min drive to Rocky Point Park - a good place to adjourn for a walk after a filling meal! Will definitely visit regularly...
